The Houston Texans will have a first-place schedule in 2024.

The Houston Texans are back on top as the winners of the AFC South, but with great power comes great responsibility.

This means the Texans schedule for the 2024 season just got a whole lot harder.

Here’s a look at the 2024 opponents:

Home: Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions

Away: Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys

The Texans will play the Jags, Colts and Titans as part of their divisional series. Then, they face the AFC East, which will see them host the Bills and Dolphins while visiting the Jets and Pats. The team will also play the NFC North, which has games against the Bears and Lions at home and the Packers and Vikings on the road.

The final three games are against the top teams in the AFC North (Ravens), AFC West (@ Chiefs) and NFC North (@ Cowboys).

Perhaps the game against the Cowboys could pit the two Lone Star State rivals on Thanksgiving next year? Either way, there are seven postseason opponents on the Texans’ schedule in 2024, making it quite the gauntlet for Houston.
