NOTES:

  • For the first time this season, rookie safety Justin Reid played every defensive snap. It’s a strong sign of the third-round pick’s progression throughout his first season. Here’s to hoping Reid keeps it up!
  • Lamar Miller returned to action after missing last week’s game with a thigh injury. He recorded 46 rushing yards on 15 carries in the win.
  • Benardrick McKinney continues to be an under-the-radar leader for the Texans this season. He recorded a season-high 11 tackles and notched his first full sack of the season while playing every snap.
  • Quietly, the best defensive player this season outside of J.J. Watt has been Zach Cunningham. He played every snap yesterday on defense and recorded a team-high 13 tackles. Cunningham leads the team in tackles this season with 51.
