Countdown To Monday Night Football: Titans v. Texans

The AFC South takes center stage as the Texans host the Titans at NRG Stadium tonight.

The man who brought the NFL back to Houston, Bob McNair, passed away this past Friday. The team that forms a significant part of his legacy—but nowhere near his entire legacy—will take the field this evening for the first time at NRG Stadium since McNair’s passing. The organization will honor its founder in several ways.

It’s going to be emotional, and that’s before we even get to the Texans trying to extend their current winning streak to eight games while maintaining (over the Colts) or extending (over the Titans) their lead in the AFC South as the calendar gets ready to flip to December.
