The Texans and Packers blast off at 7 p.m. CDT tonight as each team begins their 2019 preseason as a precursor to the 2019 NFL Season.
It should be an interesting game as far as preseason games go. The Packers are mad about joint practices. Lonnie Johnson is in witness protection for pulverizing players when he probably wasn’t supposed to. The Texans have offensive line issues to deal with as they take on what could be a top five pass rush. Houston’s secondary gets to deal with an ‘elite’ when healthy quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. The Texans’ run defense gets to see Aaron Jones. The pass rush gets a chance to have some nice one-on-one pass rush opportunities.
And, I, oh, I get to watch DeShone Kizer play football once again.
The first quarter open thread will be posted at 6:45 p.m. Until then, you can hang out and chat here.
