Come approximately 3 p.m. CDT today, either the Texans or Colts will be 2-4, while the other will slip to 1-5. Nobody expected the Texans to do anything this season, so another loss wouldn’t be a disaster for them. They’d simply be doing what we thought they would repeatedly do all season long.
The Colts, though? Many pundits predicted them to win the AFC South or at least compete for a wild card berth, and that’ll become a wildly uphill battle if Indianapolis finds themselves four games under .500 in mid-October.
The pressure resides squarely with Frank Reich’s squad this afternoon. Will they respond in positive fashion, or will that loss to the Ravens on national television six days ago resonate? Talk about that and more below. The game thread for Texans-Colts will go live at 11:45 a.m. CDT.
