Good morning, friends. How does this glorious day find you? Smashingly well, I hope.

In case you missed it, your Houston Texans decided to spend their first draft pick of 2021 on a quarterback. Davis Mills is a Texan. I found it as curious a decision as you likely did, and there’ll be plenty of time to dissect it further soon enough. For now, I encourage you to check out Matt Waldman’s analysis of the Texans’ newest signal-caller.

Nick Caserio followed that bold move up by trading back into the third round to select Nico Collins. Sexy? No. But if Tom Brady went in the sixth round once upon a time, new math says Davis Mills, having been snagged in the third round, will be twice as good as Brady. You should discuss that and any other Texans thoughts in the space below before the fourth round kicks off at 11 a.m. CDT.
