After playing just two snaps and making his Texans debut in Sunday night’s win over the Cowboys, Kayvon Webster is heading to Injured Reserve, presumably ending his first (and perhaps only) season with in Houston.

In a corresponding move, the Texans are elevating Mike Tyson (no, not that Mike Tyson) to the active roster from the practice squad.
Tyson is a 2017 Seahawks’ sixth-round pick who spent last season and training camp with Seattle. He was signed to the Texans’ practice squad right before the season began and is now an official member of Houston’s 53-man roster thanks to the total demolition in their secondary.
Webster becomes the third cornerback to hit IR for the Texans this season, joining Kevin Johnson and Aaron Colvin (though it is thought that one or both could return at some point this season).
