Texans vs. Jets Week 14 Inactives: Who’s In? Who’s Out?

Who’s in street clothes today for the Houston Texans against the New York Jets?

NFL: Houston Texans at Cincinnati Bengals Katie Stratman-USA TODAY Sports

With kickoff between the New York Jets and the Houston Texans just less than 90 minutes away, each team released its inactive lists for the game.

Here’s a look at today’s inactives:

WR Jason Brownlee

RT Carter Warren

OT Austin Deculus

LB Zaire Barnes

DE Carl Lawson

CB Bryce Hall

QB Brett Rypien (emergency QB)

Former Texans offensive lineman Austin Deculus won’t play against his former team today.

RB Mike Boone

CB Kris Boyd

DB DeAndre Houston-Carson

OL Nick Broeker

TE Dalton Schultz

QB Case Keenum

DE Myjai Sanders

The Texans will have Dalton Schultz out for the second straight week, giving Brevin Jordan an opportunity to start at tight end. The rest of the inactives come as no surprise. Kris Boyd joined the active roster this week after weeks on the practice squad, but he is among the inactives this week. DeAndre Houston-Carson will also sit, likely because Adrian Amos will make his Texans debut. Case Keenum will act as the emergency third quarterback and could see action if CJ Stroud and Davis Mills get injured.

The Texans and Jets kick off at 12 noon at MetLife Stadium.
