The first prime-time match-up of the 2018 NFL season featuring your Houston Texans hits the airwaves on Sunday night when the visiting Dallas Cowboys take the field at NRG Stadium. In addition to bragging rights within the State of Texas, the Texans will be fighting to improve to 2-3 while the Cowboys will be striving to avoid falling to 2-3. Not exactly how either fan base had hoped to begin the campaign, but there’s plenty of season left to be played, and the rivalry between the cities should make for a great atmosphere. Here’s how to catch Sunday Night Football this week.
Kickoff Time: 7:20 p.m CDT on Sunday, October 7th.
TV Broadcast: NBC.
Radio Broadcast: Sports Radio 610 (AM), 100.3 (FM), and SXM 88. NFL Game Pass also provides an audio streaming service.
Online Streaming: Sunday Night Football streams for free on NBC Sports online. Viewers in the U.S. can also use the NFL Mobile app if they have a Verizon subscription. Anyone else can use the NFL Game Pass subscription service to watch the game.
Opponent Blog: Blogging the Boys.
Twitter: @battleredblog.
Facebook: Sure, you like us. But do you really, really like us?
NFL Network Replay: To be determined.
In terms of what we'll be doing on game day itself, expect "Countdown To Kickoff" to post at 3:30 p.m. CDT on Sunday, with the first open thread for the game posting at 7:05 p.m. CDT. We'll add live open threads as necessary, and then we'll have a post-game reaction thread as soon as the game's over.
