We know that your Houston Texans will host the first game of the NFL Playoffs, against the Indianapolis Colts, on Saturday, January 5th at NRG Stadium at 3:35 p.m. CST. We also know that should the Texans defeat the Colts, their next playoff game would be against the Patriots in Foxborough on Sunday, January 13th at 12:05 p.m. CST.

While the NFL reseeds the playoffs each round to ensure the highest remaining seed plays the lowest remaining seed, the Texans’ status as the No. 3 seed in the AFC ensures they’d travel to New England to face the second-seeded Patriots in the Divisional Round if they win on Saturday. If the Colts beat the Texans, however, Indianapolis would travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs in the second round.

Long story short: The Texans’ first playoff game is Saturday, January 5th at 3:35 p.m. CST. If they win, their next playoff game is on the road against the Patriots on Sunday, January 13th at 12:05 p.m. CST. Set your calendars accordingly.
