The Texans are hosting the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs at 3:35 p.m. CST on Saturday. Yes. This is the only thing that matters. But because of how regular season opponents are determined (each team’s opponents are based on a rotation of opponents from the opposite conference and their own; they play each team in their division twice; and they play two other teams in their conference that finished where they finished in their respective divisions), the Texans’ 2020 opponents are now set with the conclusion of the 2019 regular season.
Next year, the Texans will play home games against the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and New England Patriots.
They will play road games against the Colts, Jaguars, Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears.
Houston was projected to play the toughest regular season schedule in the entire NFL in 2019. They ended up playing the seventh toughest. Next season is going to be rough and wild after they won the AFC South again, especially with being stuck playing the NFC North and AFC North.
Which game(s) are you looking forward to most?
