This is nowhere near as exciting as the regular season schedule release (which should drop in the next week or so), but it’s something, right? The NFL just published its entire 2019 preseason schedule, and this is what it means for your Houston Texans:
Week 1 (Aug. 8-12): Houston Texans vs. Green Bay Packers
Week 2 (Aug. 15-19): Detroit Lions vs. Houston Texans
Week 3 (Aug. 22-25): Houston Texans vs. Dallas Cowboys
Week 4 (Aug. 29-30): Los Angeles Rams vs. Houston Texans
So we have a preseason slate in which the Texans will travel to Lambeau to face Aaron Rodgers & Co. before hosting the Lions at NRG Stadium, with the third “dress rehearsal” exhibition game against the Cowboys in Arlington, and a preseason finale in which the NFC Champion Rams (with Wade Phillips) come to Houston.
Excited? Nonplussed? Share your thoughts below.
UPDATE: Here are the kickoff times for each of the Texans’ four exhibition games.
