Could Mike Bullock’s longtime wish finally come true? Multiple credible NFL reporters have divulged that your Houston Texans have brought veteran safety Earl Thomas III in for a workout and look-see.
The Texans are bringing in former Ravens S Earl Thomas for a workout. His first look since being cut by Baltimore.

For the #Texans and S Earl Thomas, it’s a chance to check out where he is physically and understand his mindset. While the #Cowboys have struggled on defense, it’s Houston who brings in Thomas for a visit.

Thomas, of course, is a free agent after the Ravens suddenly decided the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze about a month ago. With a defense that has yet to hold an opponent under 28 points through three weeks of action, Bill O’Brien could very well feel differently now than John Harbaugh did before the season began.
For what it’s worth, Adam Schefter is hearing that Earl Thomas is likely to sign in short order, though Schefter does not technically specify that location will be NRG Park (but it’s certainly fair to assume that it would be, as Thomas hasn’t been linked to any other teams recently).
Former Ravens’ S Earl Thomas is in Houston now and his “signing this week is more likely than not”, per a source. Before he signs, he has to first pass COVID protocols.

Is Earl Thomas about to become a Houston Texan? If so, does that invigorate you, fellow fan of an 0-3 football team?
UPDATE: The Texans have apparently decided not to examine or sign Earl Thomas.
