Deshaun Watson, Texans Teammates React To News Of Quarterback’s Contract Extension

Today’s a big day in Houston. We knew the Texans would have to trim their roster down to 53 by 3 p.m. What we didn’t know—but hoped would happen—was that the Texans and Deshaun Watson would agree to a contract extension. DW4 will now assuredly be QB1 at NRG Park through the 2025 season. Since word of Watson’s new deal has gotten out, several of his teammates took to Twitter to react. As you’d expect, they’re pretty pumped that one of the team’s leaders got paid.
