In their valiant quest for the #1 overall draft pick in 2022, the Knights of the McEasterby Table will tilt at the windmill known as the Arizona Cardinals this weekend. Not only is it a must-lose game for Houston (as they all are this year), but it will present the first time former Houston Texans All-Pro players DeAndre Hopkins and J.J. Watt face their old franchise. Wanna bet Hopkins doesn’t shake Easterby’s hand after the game?

With no one in the Houston secondary who could ever dream of covering D-Hop and no one on the offensive line has any hope of stopping Watt or Chandler Jones, expect the undefeated Cardinals to slay the Texans in rapid fashion. Yes, this one has the potential to get very ugly, very quickly.

This is certainly a snapshot of two teams headed in opposite directions. The Cardinals are early Super Bowl favorites, the only remaining undefeated team in the league, with a hot-handed quarterback and a roster flush with talent. The Texans are a shell of their former glory, don’t have enough quality players to field a flag football team, and aren’t showing really any signs of improving as long as Cal McNair and Jack Easterby are calling the shots.

While Phoenix isn’t remotely as cool as H-Town, expect their star to shine far brighter this weekend.
