Thanksgiving Day Football Live: Washington at Dallas

It’s a battle for first place in the NFC East. Join the conversation here!

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

I’m sure one thing the NFL is thankful for is that the Cowboys actually have something meaningful to play for on the biggest stage of their season. Thanks to two consecutive road wins against the Falcons and Eagles, the past two NFC Champions, the Cowboys now find themselves one game back of the division leader, who also happens to be today’s opponent.

Washington is also thankful to still be in first place after the slew of injuries that has plagued the team. And today, the team hands the ball off to Colt McCoy in his first regular season start since 2014. One of his starts four years ago came against this same Cowboys team in primetime, and he was able to get the job done. Can he get the job done today against his friends and family on one of football’s biggest stages?
