In our second game of today’s NFL tripleheader, the San Francisco 49ers enter their temporary home in Arizona as the visitors to face the real home team Arizona Cardinals.
The 49ers have been hit with the injury bug at QB as Jimmy Garoppolo and Nick Mullens are both down today. This means C.J. Beathard draws the start; Josh Rosen, former Arizona first-round pick, will be the backup after he was signed off Tampa Bay’s practice squad Tuesday.
The Cardinals can significantly improve their playoff chances with a win today. Nine wins could be the magic number in the NFC this season.
