Jonathan Joseph, beloved cornerback, shutter-downer of half a field, missed practice today with a slight groin issue.

No need to have a nervous breakdown just yet. Gary Kubiak assures us that J-Jo should be back practicing tomorrow. And don't worry about Arian Foster or Andre Johnson taking it easy today, either:

All three Pro Bowlers are expected to play without any issues in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans. Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Joseph should be back to practice on Thursday and that Johnson and Foster were just being rested.

"It’s that time we’ve got going here, a lot of guys have played a lot of snaps," Kubiak said. "I would expect them to be full-go tomorrow."

More injury updates:

Free safety Quintin Demps did not practice Wednesday after having surgery on his thumb earlier this week. Demps has a cast on his hand and played with one on Sunday after getting injured against the Broncos. His injury is not expected to keep him out on Sunday.

Kubiak is hopeful that second-year wide receiver Lestar Jean will be able to play in a couple of weeks. Jean had arthroscopic surgery to repair a meniscus issue on Tuesday. Kubiak said fullback James Casey had the same procedure a few seasons ago and missed only two games.

And Matt Schaub's missing ear lobe?

"He'll be alright," Kubiak said, smiling. "We'll give him a big hat."
