In case you missed it last week, please be kindly advised that Weston put out a call for new writers. To wit:
Battle Red Blog is looking for writers for the 2020 NFL season. Mainly we are looking for someone who can write one great thing a week. It can be whatever you want to write about. There are no assignments around here. In addition to the one great post per week, we’d like anyone interested to also commit to publishing two to three news posts a week as the season progresses. That’s pretty much it. That’s what we are looking for.
Regimented soul that he is, Weston set a deadline of tomorrow (July 2nd) to receive writing samples about the Texans from anyone interested in jumping aboard this ship of fools. I’m thrilled to report that we’ve already received eighteen (18!) entries; while I can say without reservation that there are a ton of solid options in that group, we’re always eager to add as many unique viewpoints about the hometown team as possible.
So if you have an itch to write about your Houston Texans that has yet to be scratched, please send us a sample or two by tomorrow at 11 p.m. CDT. Thanks to all who have taken the time to submit an entry.
