Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Texans fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

On the heels of a demoralizing loss to the Panthers and with the Falcons on deck, Texans fans were not feeling good about their team. Yet now, with Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller having led the good guys to a 21 point win in which the home team scored 53 points, the tide has turned. Check out the confidence of Texans fans as they prepare to watch Houston take on the Chiefs in Kansas City this weekend:

Of course, we’re no further than a disappointing letdown performance against Patrick Mahomes & Co. away from the bottom falling out again. There is potential, however, for a positive spike of confidence if the Texans play well in a loss, similar to what we saw when the Texans showed well in New Orleans against the Saints on Monday Night Football to open the 2019 regular season.

A win over the Chiefs? That’d be akin to a rocket to the moon, kids.
