Which Team Is The Favorite In The AFC South Right Now?

Did Houston’s 11-5 regular season record, followed by a flameout against the Colts, followed by a relatively quiet free agency, change how people are looking at the division?

Your Houston Texans finished the 2018 regular season with a record of 11-5. They were crowned champions of the AFC South. They promptly followed that up by looking absolutely horrendous and overmatched in a home playoff game against the Colts.

Entering the offseason, flush with cap space, many fans assumed the Texans would be big spenders, particularly when it came to addressing their offensive line and secondary.

Nope.

Sure, they added some talent via free agency, but they lost quite a bit and did not land any of the bigger fish in the free agent pond.

Thus, with free agency effectively over and the 2019 NFL Draft exactly three weeks away, what’s the perception of the Texans by AFC South fans compared to the Colts, Titans, and Jaguars? Who should be considered the favorite to win the division in 2019?

Should the Colts be considered such prohibitive favorites over the Texans in April? Are the Texans really closer to the Jaguars and Titans than they are the Colts? Give your two cents in the space below.
