The second half of Texans-Bills begins with the Texans receiving the kick off to try to build on their 10-0 lead. Houston’s performance has been rather up and down overall, with some great highlights on offense (like Nuk’s back shoulder touchdown), but also some terrible, terrible low-lights (like Deshaun’s inexcusable interception).
The Texans defense and special teams have more than held up their end of the bargain, however, by sacking Josh Allen multiple times to end drives and making two HUGE plays against the Bills punt return team to give their offense some great field position. When looking at the grand scheme of things, I’m encouraged by what we’ve seen so far. Houston has a commanding lead, yes, but that lead could be so much more if they could get out of their own way for once, so there is still plenty of room for improvement.
