2019 Houston Texans Game Day Live: Broncos vs. Texans (Fourth Quarter)

It’s winning time. For who, though—Houston or Denver?

NFL: Houston Texans at Denver Broncos Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

After nine seasons with your Houston Texans, beginning with when he was selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Kareem Jackson signed a three-year contract with the Denver Broncos as a free agent last offseason. K-Jax is simply the latest example of the voluminous shared history between these two franchises. Owen Daniels, Antonio Smith, Chris Myers, Joel Dreessen, Wade Phillips, Demaryius Thomas...the list goes on and on.

One guy who hasn’t been employed by both franchises? Deshaun Watson. I reckon the odds are pretty fair that’ll remain the case, and as I write this the night before the game, I hope DW4 is about to author the latest chapter—if he hasn’t already in the three previous quarters of this game—of his 2019 NFL MVP candidacy. Let’s do this.
