2019 NFL Playoffs Live: Texans v. Chiefs (Second Quarter)

The discussion about the second AFC Divisional Round Playoff Game of 2019 rolls on at BRB.

As I write this the night before the Texans tangle with the Chiefs in Kansas City with the right to host the AFC Championship Game on the line, I hope Deshaun Watson & Co. got off to a fast start and find themselves up a couple scores as the second quarter begins.

I hope that, yet I’m well aware of Houston’s first quarter struggles throughout the season, so I realize it’s entirely possible, if not probable, that the Texans are down double-digits early. But you know what? The Texans trailed the Chiefs by a score of 17-3 after the first quarter back in Week Six, and Houston came back to win it. No matter what the scoreboard looks like at the moment, do not despair. It’s too early to throw up your hands in disgust or, for that matter, gloat. There is a lot of football left to be played this afternoon.

That and everything else on your mind in the second quarter can be discussed in the Comments.
