Brandin Cooks used to play for winners. He was drafted by the Saints in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Patriots in 2017, and he subsequently played in a Super Bowl. A year later, Cooks became a Ram, and he played in another Super Bowl.
Then he was traded to the Texans, and the Super Bowl might as well be played on the moon at this point. Brandin Cooks is still a very good wide receiver, and I hope he gets a chance, preferably before the NFL trading deadline on Tuesday afternoon, to play for a contender again.
Today, Cooks will bear witness to what is sure to be a flogging of the non-Molly type...
