2021 Thursday Night Football Live: Texans vs. Panthers

It’s a beautiful evening for football at NRG Stadium tonight. This is normally where I’d make a crack about how the roof should be open for this primetime affair, but history tells me I’d likely just be wasting keystrokes.

Instead, let’s talk about the actual game. Davis Mills will make his first NFL start, and it’ll be against one of the best defenses in the league, in front of a nationwide audience. Can Mills, after looking woefully unprepared to play quarterback at this level when he was compelled under center in the wake of Tyrod Taylor’s injury last week, somehow do enough to lead the Texans to an upset? Or will the Panthers improve to 3-0?
