Street Clothes Special: Texans-Eagles Inactives

It’s our weekly roundup of the men on the sidelines in sweats.

Houston Texans Inactives:

DB Mike Tyson (concussion), NT Brandon Dunn (ankle), WR Keke Coutee (hamstring), and RB Lamar Miller (ankle) were all ruled out before today and did not travel with the team to Philadelphia. OT Roderick Johnson and DE Joel Heath find themselves as healthy scratches once again, while CB Shareece Wright, who has played in the last five games, is somewhat of a surprising healthy scratch. The team activated CB Kayvon Webster and Wright was outplayed by CB Aaron Colvin last week against the Jets. This likely leads to more snaps for the pair of defensive backs.

WR DeAndre Hopkins was given a last-minute questionable designation after hurting his ankle, but he appears to be good to go as he is active. Alfred Blue will start for Lamar Miller at running back today, but look for D’Onta Foreman to get some touches as well. The sophomore RB is active for the first time this season after dealing with an Achilles’ tear he suffered last November.

Philadelphia Eagles Inactives:

CB Sidney Jones, LB D.J. Alexander, G Isaac Seumalo, and QB Carson Wentz were all ruled out before the weekend, while the remaining inactives are healthy scratches.

Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles gets his second consecutive start at quarterback today for the injured Wentz. The Eagles are 2-1 this season in games where Foles starts.
