NOTES:

  • Quarterback Tyrod Taylor started the game, but left after just 26 offensive snaps with a hamstring injury. Rookie Davis Mills finished the game and will start in the upcoming Thursday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers.
  • Linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill made a huge impact on defense. While playing just 44 defensive snaps, the veteran recorded a team-high nine tackles, three tackles for loss and a sack.
  • Linebacker Christian Kirksey was the only Texans defender on the field for every snap. Playing against his former team, Kirksey recorded six tackles and a TFL.
  • Rookie wideout Nico Collins left the game after playing just two offensive snaps with an injury. He did catch a 32-yard pass from Taylor before exiting. His status for Thursday night’s game is up in the air.
  • David Johnson led the running back committee in snaps with 26. Mark Ingram followed with 19, Phillip Lindsay logged 14, and Rex Burkhead finished with 11. However, it was Ingram who led the way in carries with 14.
